JGRAD（博士人材データベースとは） / What is JGRAD (Japan Graduates Database)?
「JGRAD（博士人材データベース）は、博士人材がより一層社会で活躍するための様々な政策立案に役立てるため、文部科学省 科学技術・学術政策研究所（NISTEP）が、社会における博士人材の活躍状況やキャリアパスを追跡する事を目的としたデータベースです。博士の皆様一人ひとりから提供いただく情報により構築されます。本学も、2016年度より参加しています。
Japan Graduates Database (JGRAD) is the national database operated by the National Institute of Science and Technology Policy (NISTEP) of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), aiming to track the activities and career paths of doctoral graduates in order to contribute to the policy-making process of higher education and human resources development. This database is constructed from the information provided by each of the doctoral graduates registered on the Database. Tokyo Metropolitan University has also participated since 2016.
JGRADでできること / What you can do
１．求人情報検索 Search job postings
JREC-IN Portalと連携しているので、皆さんの研究分野の求人情報を検索することができます。
In cooperation with JREC-IN Portal, the latest job posting information matched to your research area can be searched.
２．ロールモデル集の閲覧 View Role model references
博士後期課程修了した方のロールモデルを閲覧することができます。アカデミックだけでなく、企業の研究者として活躍しているケース、海外で活躍しているケースなど、様々なロールモデルが提示されています。
博士後期課程修了後のキャリアを考える上で、参考にしてください。
Various role models of doctoral graduates can be viewed, including of those who are working in academia as well as playing an active role in company and overseas.
Please use these role model references for your future career after completion of the doctoral program.
３．博士人材の活性化 Revitalization of doctoral human resources
博士人材がより一層社会で活躍するための政策立案に役立てるためのデータベースです。皆さんのデータの１つ１つが、今後の博士人材の活躍フィールドを広げる可能性につながります。
This database serves to contribute to the policy-making process of higher education and human resources development. Each piece of registrant’s data leads to the possibility of expanding the opportunities for doctoral graduates.
4．博士人材用SNS SNS for Doctoral Candidates
2023年度よりアクテイブな登録者に対して博士人材用SNS（Slackワークスペース、Facebookグループ）の参加権が付与されることとなりました。この博士人材用SNSのSlackワークスペースにおいて「ジョブ型研究インターンシップ」のチャンネルが2023年7月に開設されました。
Starting in FY2023, active registrants will have the right to participate in the SNS (Slack Workspace and Facebook Group) for doctoral candidates. A Cooperative Education through Research Internships channel was launched in July 2023 in the Slack workspace of this social networking site for doctoral candidates.

アカウント発行の手順 / Process of issuing a user account
JGRADに登録するためには、アカウントを発行する必要があります。
以下、手順に沿ってアカウント発行申請をしてください。
Please follow the following steps to apply for your JGRAD user account.
①アカウント発行申請フォームの記入 / Submit an application form.
科学技術・学術政策研究所(NISTEP)のアカウント発行申請フォームより申請を行う。
※2023年3月24日より、科学技術・学術政策研究所(NISTEP)のフォームからの申請に変更しました。
Apply for an account at the National Institute of Science and Technology Policy (NISTEP) using the application form.
※As of March 24, 2023, the application is now submitted through the National Institute of Science and Technology Policy (NISTEP) form.
※申請時に誤った大学メールアドレスを書く事例が多く見受けられます。Microsoft 365のサインインIDとメールアドレスは異なります。入力前に必ず確認してください。
※We have seen many cases where the wrong university email address is written in the application. your Microsoft 365 sign-in ID is different from your email address. Please make sure to check before entering.
※申請時に大学メールアドレスを記入した場合は、修了後に別のメールアドレスへの変更をお願いいたします。
※If you entered your university e-mail address when you applied, please change it to another e-mail address after you graduate from the doctoral program.
②アカウント発行 / User account will be issued.
申請フォームに記載したメールアドレスに、JGRAD事務局から直接アカウント発行の案内が届きます。
入力手順に従って、初回ログインをしてください。
An account notification will be sent to you by e-mail directly from JGRAD administrative office. Follow the login instructions for first-time users.
登録後 / What to do after successful registration
JGRADは博士後期課程修了後も利用できるデータベースです。
修了後、登録内容は適宜更新してください。また、毎年1回JGRAD事務局から登録情報の確認とアンケート調査回答依頼の連絡があります。お手すきの際に、ご協力をよろしくお願いいたします。
JGRAD is the database that can be used even after completion of the doctoral program. Please update your registration accordingly.
JGRAD administrative office asks registrants to confirm their registration status and answer a questionnaire survey once a year. Your cooperation is highly appreciated.
個人情報の取扱い / Treatment of personal information
登録された個人情報は、東京都個人情報保護に関する条例及び文部科学省 科学技術・学術政策研究所（NISTEP）の個人情報の取扱いに基づき厳重に管理します。
Personal information registered on JGRAD shall be handled securely and carefully in accordance with Tokyo Metropolitan Ordinance on the Protection of Personal Information and NISTEP Treatment of Personal Information.
